Were You There For Our Holy Father's Visit?

This section of our web site is dedicated to our Holy Father's visit to New York. You will find in the section resources to our Holy Father's trip to America, his writings, resources to scriptural and Catholic teaching on the pope and so much more. We encourage youth and young adult leaders to share their experience of the Pope's visit in New York. The theme of his visit will be "Christ Our Hope". If you have not read his newest Encyclical "Spe Salvi - Saved In Hope"

May God bless you all on this blessed Easter!

May we listen carefully to all the words of the Holy Father during his visit to the U.S. and always. He will be marked in history as one of the great Popes who culminated the renewal and turning point of the Church founded by Jesus Christ, a renewal begun in the middle of the 20th century. May our Father in Heaven protect him as we thank Him for the courage of Benedict! -Elaine

One of the most beautiful things about our Holy Father's visit was that we could all see his humble dignified love for Christ. Pope Benedict knows that all the excitement should not be about him but about Him!

As he put it at Saturday's mass at the Cathedral, which I had the great privilege of attending as a volunteer, "Work generously and joyfully, for he whom you serve is the Lord!" He inspired me, my friends, and God willing, countless others to share Christ's hope and love in our daily lives!
